02/28/2009 “Bob and the Monster", the documentary film about Bob Forrest, is currently filming and set for completion by the end of 2009. On the heels of winning the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival for producing the documentary "We Live In Public," director Keirda Bahruth is working on bringing Bob's endlessly inspiring story to the world. Currently sorting through and editing the many interviews with Bob over the years, as well as key interviews with Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Angelo Moore, Pete Weiss, Zander Schloss, Keith Morris and many many more, Keirda and her team at Shaker Films are currently seeking archival footage to bring the "non heavy metal" side of Los Angeles in the 80s and 90s alive. Photographs, film and video of the era, specifically Raji's, Cathay de Grand, Club Lingerie, Al's Bar, footage of Melrose, Hollywood Blvd, etc.....we're looking for it all. If you'd like to participate in helping bring Bob to the world and you have pictures, footage, questions, tips or all of the above, please contact Shaker Films at info@shakerfilms.com. We can make any and all things happen, there is no format too old. Thank you all in advance.
